I have really enjoyed watching this show but the last few episodes it seems like the writing has went downhill. There were a number of cringe worthy scenes like "tabs vs spaces".
- mentos 10y agoI feel like a lot of the humor in the show came from Erlich Bachman who is no longer in the drivers seat this season.

- excitom 10y agoSeriously? I laughed out loud at the "tabs vs spaces" scene since I have seen it played out exactly like that at several jobs.
- timmyelliot 10y agoAt my work, that tabs vs spaces ended up being the most discussed scene. I thought it was genius.
- louthy 10y agoI wonder if they intentionally got the details of the tabs/spaces argument wrong (by implying that you type the spaces manually, by saying 1 tab can save 8 spaces -- I doubt many coders uses 8 space tabs, if any, ...) as a wind-up for the actual coders watching. It seems weird to have the inside knowledge of such a heated but obscure topic, and then get the detail wrong. I hope it was intentional because it points to them playing with their audience in quite a Machiavellian way.
- robotnoises 10y agoDisagree. I laughed out-loud at that scene, and enjoyed talking with my wife about it later. Also, spaces is the correct answer.
