- joshvm 10y agoOn the other hand burning trees are one of the better ways to produce heating and power because (using fast growing trees) it's a fairly closed cycle of CO2 release and capture. Modern wood burning stoves are incredibly efficient, the one my Dad has approaches 90% if you use it correctly.
