Ummm, did you read the same article I read? Because I read an article about a team using publicly available data about public companies, then training an algorithm to comb that data to determine which ones were likely customers (which would save their salespeople time and, probably, save time for unlikely customers who are no longer receiving an unwanted solicitation).
