Definitely iconoclastic, but Linus is also insanely good at what he does, so I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss that position, there might be something there.

- joemi 10y agoBut as many others have pointed out, his comparison between code and prose is completely absurd and shows a complete lack of understanding of what he's writing about. He's not actually writing about code, he's writing about both cognitive science and visual design, which I do not believe are his strengths.
