Now I want to see a list of superstitions that have not been lost, but are nonetheless still silly. Step on a crack, break your mother's back. Throw salt over your shoulder for good luck. Find a penny, pick it up, etc.

- xupybd 10y agoThere is nothing I hate more about social media than that.
- Xcelerate 10y agoYou won't believe how many otherwise rational people I know who will pick up a penny if it is on heads, but won't pick it up if it is on tails.
- joombaga 10y agoI do this. There can be entertainment value in superstition.
