I just tried - the "Firefox Web Content" process was automatically killed quickly after the "Firefox" process was killed. No surprise there, it would be weird if they hadn't considered that scenario. If the "Web Content" process is killed while the main Firefox process is running, Firefox asks if you want to restore the tabs - which is half the point of e10s. "killall firefox" would be easy to do anyway.
