  It's annoying that you can't retract your votes. What is the point with that? Also, I can only upvote. Are you given the power to do the opposite once you're seasoned enough or something?

    There's some karma threshold you have to achieve to get downvote privileges (possibly coupled with a minimum account age, but I don't know for sure).

    > It's annoying that you can't retract your votes. What is the point with that? Supposedly it "encourages people to vote thoughtfully," which would be somewhat less silly if the buttons weren't tiny and about a millimeter apart.
