- smitherfield 10y agoPhysical access to a semiconductor fab isn't exactly easy pickings.
- chejazi 10y agoI wouldn't say physical access is as clever, though.
- vermilingua 10y agoIt is easier for a large agency with interest in controlling computers to install a backdoor at the manufacture stage, than individually accessing "suspects" computers. Compared to the RAM attack, physical access to a semiconducter fab IS easy pickings for a clandestine government agency.
