Same. Waze is absolutely useless in Los Angeles. Every alternate route for my commute from the valley to the westside is full of worst traffic than the 405 yet it continuously recommends surface streets. These alternate routes that are supposed to save me 2-3 minutes often take much longer so it's completely inaccurate. I'm curious if there is some threshold of traffic at which these algorithms can no longer be accurate. If so, Los Angeles has long passed this threshold. I've stopped using Waze or any comparable apps long ago.
