Wow. I think he and Google keep figuring out.. hardware is well.. hard! I mean they started a revolution in Smart Thermostats (they're also now the reason people are willing to pay $200+ for a thermostat). They had a good innovation, found a market at the right time, got bought, and realized sustaining that type of business isn't easy.
