This is because of two things; the first is what Aditya pointed out (emissions from the past continuing to have an impact) and the second is that because we were only working with 6 questions, we didn't have room to address some areas of consumption (like most food, or goods and services in general), so we just assumed a basic amount of emissions for those categories.
