Keeping it simple and assuming that the economy needs a stable amount of nurses + coders, for every girl who decides to be a coder instead of a nurse, you are saying a boy should be a nurse instead of a coder! But as you say, I don't see a big push for boys to do other things, which is exactly what would have to happen.* *I understand price substitution effects occur, but the general idea is still correct.
