You called a widely held perspective--though one clearly at odds with the predominant political views around here--"unthoughtful", "rage", "noise", "this kind of rant", and then buried it. If I was x0x0, I'd be quite upset to have the moderator of the site say all those things about my reasonably argued position, remove my comment from the discussion, and then not even acknowledge why it was a bad decision, or even retract those nasty and unwarranted characterizations. And everyone who saw this might think twice about sharing their perspective in the future because they might have their name dragged through the mud a bit too; you've given no reason to believe that you changed your decision for any reason but its unpopularity in this particular case.
