Both the sony z3 and now my current galaxy s5 have the ability to add any # to a built-in Auto Reject list. The z3 even had a built-in answering machine and at one point I told att to disable voicemail. I love it when I get those calls as I then just block them. Problem solved. And of course there are free aps which can do the same.

On previous phones long pressing the contact gives you an ignore option but not this one. Edit: I just discovered the option to send all calls from a contact to voicemail which is great but then I'll have to dial in and delete the voicemail otherwise there will be an icon there forever. Ideally there would be a button to dump the call and silently reject all further calls from that number. I suppose I could attach all numbers to the same contact.
- hackney 10y agoHaven't had the z3 for almost a year. I bought mine unlocked with kitkat and promptly rooted it through xda but the blocking feature I think I ended up using an apk from the playstore. I was almost ready to put layers on it with a cutting edge rom and it broke, again... Sayonara sony.
- walrus01 10y agoThis is a great feature also found in cyanogenmod. Very capable blacklist features. This doesn't help with spoofed VoIP caller ID though if the calls appear to come from a new number each time.
