Sorry, I grabbed the first link. Are they a poor source (honestly don't know)? I also found http://www.techinsider.io/github-the-full-inside-story-2016-2 http://www.techinsider.io/github-the-full-inside-story-2016-... and http://techcrunch.com/2016/05/26/githubs-diversity-is-just-as-bad-as-the-rest-of-silicon-valleys/ http://techcrunch.com/2016/05/26/githubs-diversity-is-just-a... The tweets and images came from Githubbers themselves.

  They're conservative partisans and pretty open about it. Mostly they publish red meat for their base, same as Salon or Alternet.

  You grabbed the first link that sounded plausible to you. Probably a better reflection of your pre-existing bias than anything else.

    I grabbed the first link about a story I'd already read in the past the included the two things most damning, the photo of the internal presentation and the public tweets from someone on their diversity team slamming "white people." I was easily able to change the link out with two more, from more reputable sources. If you'd like I can find even more articles about their toxic "diverse" culture if you'd like.

  The former owner is a conservative so many people automatically reject it in a knee jerk reaction to advertise how sophisticated their political beliefs are. It doesn't matter if it's true or not, just who says it.
