Ask HN: Anyone working on apps for the MaidSafe platform?

Hi, I get updates from the MaidSafe forum regularly in which there's always a "Dev Update" thread detailing progress made on getting the platform ready for launch. It appears that good progress is happening on a regular basis. I'd like to hear from HN'ers regarding current/future plans to write apps for deployment on MaidSafe. Does anyone see this as something which will do well once ready for prime-time? Is anyone approaching this as something that'll one day gain substantial traction?
