The video linked from the post (http://vimeo.com/9945353 http://vimeo.com/9945353) was very disappointing. It promises 'PageRank in 5 lines of Ruby', but delivers nothing more than the mathematical definition of PageRank rewritten in pseudo-code. Not helpful at all.
I'm calling it pseudo-code because it can't possibly work as written, as it would just recurse infinitely. Your time is better spent reading the actual paper:
