An interesting (to me at least) variation on this is a Jewish prenuptial agreement[1] that basically said the husband would provide a get[2] if they were divorced under the law of the land. Apparently it is reasonably common now, but when one of my best friends go married it was a new thing, at least in our part of the world. It was something their Rabbi insisted on.
