Indeed. I recently replaced all the incandescent cans in my house with LED cans and was very certain to specify a color temperature. I've also got "LED filament" bulbs in one room at 2200K (designed to replace those clear 'vintage' bulbs), which give a really cozy feel, if a little too yellow. Yet for my garage, I love the high color temperature bulbs.
