Eventually the pendulum will swing back. The web app model beat out native apps (then called client-server apps) for very good reasons (no install, REST-fulness, simplicity, transparent linkability) but we've become blind to them through long exposure.

- Freak_NL 10y agoAmen I guess? I expect that for a lot of apps-that-really-should-be-websites their owners will realize that having to (pay to) maintain both their Android and IOS apps, and the 'normal' website is a costly affair, and that maintaining one responsive website is a lot more efficient.
