I love working with C. The power it gives me allows me to write hyper-optimized applications in terms of memory usage. Using it we process terabyte files ridiculously fast using less than 1K of non-program memory. However, when I don't need to hyper-optimised it is not my first choice due to being way behind other in languages in terms of package management and I'd rather not deal with pointers if I don't have to.
