(Segregation, deeply antidemocratic state [gerrymandering/clusterfuck of presidential elections/seemingly complete lack of accountability], horrific experiments on troops/civilians/prisoners [plutonium injections for example], cronyism [where US military causes deaths and the charges get dropped]
Doesn't excuse anything Russia does though.

Let's hope for the best, lets hope for stability and prosperity. Both are reached by free trade and free interaction with, and travel to, the rest of the world. Certainly not by boycotts, and not by demonizing an entire nation of people like you and me.
