I am using https://github.com/keleshev/schema https://github.com/keleshev/schema with python. I see a solid need for a schema here and there but don't buy into the whole heavy handed XSD. (Who hasn't struggled with the completely broken Microsoft .NET SOAP schema). From a practical perspective I am tending to validate multiple sections of json with a schema closer to the code that uses it. This way I don't have to maintain some massive schema at the top.
