Anecdotes don't make data, but I'm 36 and recently bought a regular old skateboard so I could keep up with my kids on scooters/bikes. I get some strange looks from other parents and my friends give me some shit but it's all in good fun (they're secretly jealous I think!). I would definitely ride a boosted board if I could justify the $1500.
