- smcl 10y agoStrange I too have a higher upload than download speed on speedtest.net (usually 75 down, 80 up - or so)
- nicky0 10y agoWhat kind of connection gives you 730Mbps?
- kinai 10y agoGigabit becomes quite common in Europe. I get 910
- nicky0 10y agoWow. Is this a home consumer connection? What is the cost?
- kinai 10y ago40 Euro. 100mbit 9,90, 600mbit 19,90. Eastern Europe for the win ;)
- photonios 10y ago45 RON / Month == 10 EUR / Month == $11.9 / Month In Romania ;) http://www.rcs-rds.ro/internet-digi-net/fiberlink?t=internet-fix&pachet=digi_net_fiberlink_1000 http://www.rcs-rds.ro/internet-digi-net/fiberlink?t=internet...
- kalleboo 10y agoI'm on a basic 1 GBps home connection here in Japan. Costs $35/mo. My ISP is kinda crappy so I usually only get around 300-500 MBit - I've been looking into changing ISPs (the fibre network has open competition)
- ffk 10y agoNetflix has boxes that are colocated at some ISP locations to stream videos closer to your location. Maybe fast.com connects to those systems.
- sinnet3000 10y agoYes it does. For example here for the speedtest it started a connection to: ipv4_1-lagg0-c002.1.hmo001.telmex.isp.nflxvideo.net (which is my ISP Telmex in Hermosillo) and ipv4_1-cxl0-c041.1.dfw003.ix.nflxvideo.net which is in Dallas.
