- LeifCarrotson 10y agoThat's not a "fancy ellipsis", that's an ordinary, standard U+2026 horizontal ellipsis. It is not three period characters in a row. HN appears to support Unicode://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=9105273
- unwind 10y agoYes, I know, that was what I meant and tried to express in a semi-funny way. I fully realize that the ellipsis is a code point/glyph/character/whatever in its own right, and that the rendering of it using three periods is not correct. The existance of that rendering is what makes the proper one seem "fancy", from some points of view. Also, one should never explain jokes I guess.
