Is there another option for building native interfaces that are cross-platform (let's say desktop for now: so just Linux, Win and OSX)?
Instead of the webapp-as-desktop-app does there exist a language/IDE/tool that has a friendlier license for building native desktop apps?
- infinite8s 10y agoWhat do you mean by friendlier? Meaning you want to build a commercial app without paying any licensing fees?
- spriggan3 10y agoPython supports Gtk+3 and anything that run on GObjects. Let me tell you that it's quite a lot of libraries you can use from Python. Deluge ( torrent client is written with Python and Gtk+3 ).
