I think it would be a mistake to try programming without Google in the first place. A smart developer should make the best out of the tools available. Besides interviews I really can't imagine a real-world situation where you are forced to develop without access to information (Google). Also, our brain does not need to act as a data storage, it actually sucks at it and we solved that problem a long time ago, by writing down information.
