I use it to play white noise to soothe my newborn (hands free control is a great benefit when the baby is crying!). Other than that, lots of use from the kitchen. As a timer, to listen to music, control my Hue lighting.... I also coded up a custom Skill to control my Anova via a little Bluetooth proxy I wrote[1].
