I only programmed in LISP for a semester of grad school for an AI class. My impression: it's a programming language with a unique perspective. Did I find it to be the programming language of the gods? No. Sometimes I find myself with a problem where I find myself wishing I was programming in LISP. Does this happen every day, every week, every month? No. More like once every couple of years.
