I write reviews all the time, and to be honest, Amazon makes it pretty easy. Basically if it shipped on time or earlier and was exactly what I expected, I will write a review and say exactly that.
- HemanHeartYou 10y agowhat youre doing is, seemingly, review the product based on amazon delivering it to you in a speedy and secure manner. unfortunately many reviews include this when it shouldnt even be considered.
- _JamesA_ 10y agoI have never ordered a product from Amazon that didn't ship on time or wasn't what I expected. I'm not trying to be negative but I don't see what value the type of review you say you are writing adds.
- jbob2000 10y agoI bought a smartphone case that looked robust in the picture, but was kinda cheap and didn't perfectly fit the phone, so I noted that in my review. It's just a dinky review, you're not supposed to do a full product breakdown. If everyone thought of amazon reviews this way and just gave 30 seconds for a review for every item, then there would be no automated review problem.
- taejo 10y agoThat's fine. It's the other type that people are asking you not to do: didn't ship on time, packaging damaged, delivery person left it in the wrong place, the wrong item was sent, etc.
- beberlei 10y agoWhat has shipping to do with the products quality? There are two things you buy at amazon: 1. a physical product 2. the amazon service and shipment. The second one should IMHO not be relevant for the peoduct review, yet many rate them and skew the results.
- jbob2000 10y agoYeah, fair, but if it's not a common product that amazon keeps on their shelves, then it's an important note, I think. I usually only buy stuff on amazon if I can't find it in the store, so it's usually a somewhat rare or very specific thing.
