This strikes me as interesting, if only because it says something about the audience of Facebook users. Sense of community aside, the reason I keep coming back to HN is because I trust that the audience will upvote stories that are interesting to me. I guess because Facebook has such wide community demographics, it can't rely on its users to do the policing.
