GE might have an interest in Mr. Steinmetz's name. Still, not as derivative as using Tesla's name.
- mindcrime 10y agoHmm... I wonder if there's any legal principle by which GE would have any legal claim to a trademark based on the word Steinmetz. A quick USPTO search only turns up 3 Steinmetz related trademarks and none appear to be associated with GE. One is a lawyer who's last name is Steinmetz. The others are random stuff. shrug
