The fact that what Google has is not strictly compatible with Java is neither here nor there....because it isn't Java.
- ktRolster 10y agoThe one who suggested the compatibility defense for fair use was the appellate judge, so I'd say it has at least some chance of working.
- farcical_tinpot 10y agoWho suggested it is neither here nor there. You don't use an API for anything other than compatibility and code reuse for developers. It's easily demonstrable. If it isn't the develop tools market has disappeared.
