Guess who can get them for free?
those living in civilized countries with universal health care systems.
- bandrami 10y agoVery few countries offer free prescription drugs. Not even Canada does that.
- scottishfiction 10y agoScotland, Wales and NI do. And England has only a nominal charge.
- bandrami 10y agoRight, and I think that's it (SK does the "nominal charge" thing).
- MagnumOpus 10y agoMost western countries do the "nominal charge" thing - which in this context is just about equal to zero. For instance: German public health insurance buys a course of Sovaldi for EUR40,000 ($46,000), the patient pays a cost of EUR10 ($11.50).
- herbst 10y agoIt is still something different when my health care just pays for it and later talks to me about the costs than when i need to find a way to finance it from the beginning.
