How come Thunderbolt 3 still supports only DisplayPort 1.2? Which is the same as what Thunderbolt 2 supported.
- seanp2k2 10y agoIt likely has to do with the timing at which the standards were finalized. DP1.3 / DP1.4 probably weren't ready when they needed to finalize TB3. Unfortunate but alas, standards.
