We’re Moving SMS Recipes to Mobile Notifications on IFTTT
An email received today from IF THIS THEN THAT (IFTTT) service:
"Hello,
On May 11th, we’re going to begin moving your SMS Recipes to IF Notifications.
Why are we moving away from SMS? SMS is often blocked as spam by service providers and is not as reliable as mobile notifications. It can also add up as a cost to our users.
IF Notifications on iOS and Android are more powerful and reliable than ever. We encourage everyone with SMS Recipes to give them a try.
If you want to opt-out of this upcoming move, sign in to let us know and we’ll leave your account as is.
We will email you again once the move is complete. Thanks for your support as we make your Recipe experience even better!
