- Grishnakh 11y agoHuh? Japan's workforce is among the most expensive in the world. There's a reason Japanese automakers have opened assembly plants in the USA and Mexico: the labor's cheaper. Korea isn't all that cheap either, probably roughly equivalent to the US.
