To your point of meta-fields, many of the smartest people I've known across many fields are Philosophy and X, with X being Physics, Economics, Political Science and Computer Science amongst others.
- igravious 10y agoI think this is very perceptive of you. Could you name one or two? I think that if you could these people would provide a counter-argument to this article.

In terms of public figures, I enjoyed a Ted Talk from Janna Levin who holds a Philosophy concentration amongst her physics credentials.
