What's the equivalent of a rollover effect for touch?
- mikecane 17y agoOh that discussion is raging right now among people. It was also brought up under the subject of Flash. I leave that for others to figure out.
- wmf 17y agoMaybe the Web doesn't need rollover effects.
- ErrantX 17y agoOr more to the point: maybe we should just try something new!
- infolito 17y agoTouchUpOutside Essentially, the user touches an interface element, then slides their finger off the element to "cancel" the touch. For most iPhone UI buttons/elements, it doesn't register a button click unless the the finger touches down on the button then releases up off the same button.
- phil 17y agoRollover doesn't have much meaning, but the start of a touch is analogous to the :active pseudoclass in CSS.
