I'm playing a bit the devil's advocate here but there's two side to every stories. I've known employees exploding like this, convinced in their mind that they are right when in fact it is not so. Everyone is the hero of their own stories and some people are very good at rationalizing their action after the facts to convince themselves they are in the right. It seems weird that he was fired just after putting an all nighter and resting the next day but there must have been some reason for that. It'd be surprising if there were no reason at all...
