That is, there has to be a market failure and they should explain what caused it. Often the envy seems to be about jobs where people have little idea of what is involved. For example in banking or being a CEO. I guess most people have a rough idea of the importance of a doctors skill, so they complain less. I also see few complaints about artists earning millions of dollars. How does Beyonce justify her income - maybe she should be replaced by some random street musician?
