Very effective trolling sir.
- venomsnake 10y agoProbably sarcastic, but not sure if trolling. As the recent case with the German comic showed some people's feelings are strongly protected. I personally have always thought of the idea of hate speech as absurd and Orwellian - if you control the speech you control the thoughts.
- ams6110 10y agohate speech as absurd and Orwellian Agree. Now, if your speech actually motivates someone else to do somehing criminal, you should share some responsiblity for that.
- CaptSpify 10y agoThat seems a bit absurd. How can I control the actions of someone if they mis-understand my speech?
- talmand 10y agoWhat's funny to me is the person probably doesn't even realize that's part of the problem they are supposedly against; or scarily they might. Hate speech laws are just used to justify punishing people you don't like or wish to control. Anybody who says a person should be punished for what they say or be punished for what a different person does after hearing speech is a dangerous person. Imagine how easily punishing someone for the actions of another based on what the criminal allegedly heard could be abused? Have a critic to a high-ranking government employee? Just get someone to go out and commit crimes claiming they only did it because of the critic's speech. Bam! Instance silencing of the critic. But I'm sure in this age of enlightened human beings that kind of thing would never happen.
- strangecasts 10y agoWhat about that tattoo on your chest? Doesn't it say "DIE, BART, DIE?" No, that's German for 'The Bart, The'.
- talmand 10y agoYour comment has angered me to the point I went out and harmed someone. Be sure to step forward to accept your part of the punishment.
- DanBC 10y ago> Probably sarcastic, but not sure if trolling Blatant, obvious, trolling. Look at the comment history.
- ps4fanboy 10y agoCitation needed.
- eplanit 10y agoS/he committed the crime of speech?
