  It is common practice to put all economic failures in the backs of leftist governments, but then there is the huge question: why third-world countries have such bad economies before taken over by leftist governments? The truth is that right-wing governments have no solution for poverty, otherwise people wouldn't be pissed off with their way of life. Leftist governments try to realign the economical interests of common people with those of the government. Now, stupidity, global pressures, and corruption can make this difficult to achieve as in the case of Venezuela. But that is hardly a problem that exists only on leftist governments.
