I am against the idea of anonymous voting. There is too much gaming involved here. I think only HN accounts that are identifiable to a real person should be allowed to vote. Not sure how you can enforce this though.
- vishalzone2002 10y agoi don't think you can vote with newly created throwaway accounts.. i might be wrong
- lettergram 10y agoI think there has already been a ridiculous amount of gaming, regardless of real person or not. I mentioned in a previous comment about this that even the time of day you post can dramatically impact how many votes you get because of the way the system works.
