- stephenr 10y agoYou know iCloud does a heck of a lot more than Dropbox does, right?
- PerfectElement 10y agoI never used iCloud. How does it compare to Dropbox?
- stephenr 10y agoThat's kind of like asking how does Office compare to WordPad or how does Debian compare to Firefox. The only part that compares really is iCloud Drive. It could be improved (what can't?) e.g. it's not always super fast to show updates on other devices, but honestly it's not enough of an issue for me to use another storage solution.
- mromanuk 10y agoI pay for iCloud, never paid for Dropbox.
- BjoernKW 10y agoSteve Jobs has tried once, an offer which Drew Houston declined as he has told publicly on several occasions. If it didn't make sense for him back then why should it today? If I'm not mistaken they're profitable so they're in no immediate need to be acquired.
