Maybe the solution isn't higher one-shot accuracy, as with nanotainers(tm). Maybe it is higher frequency? The idea of creating blood diagnostics for pennies is so compelling. Hate to see diagnostic research suffer from one bad investment. Am reminded how Minsky-Papert's book on Perceptrons created a winter for neural net research.
