I disagree. This is not a good article, it does not state anything (what kind of genetherapy, what kind of gene, how was it administered) but wants to tell a personal story. You can not even say how they achieved longer telomeres in white blood cells. Have they transduced hematopoetic stem cells? Or just transplanted (some kind of) white blood cells, that will be gone from the body in a few months? That would not be progress.
