I think the bigger story with bots will be the aspect of a business that the user doesn't interact with, namely the backend. As businesses seek to provide their services wherever users are (any platform that can take user input) we'll see businesses start to standardize interfaces between any bot/app/web app and their own fulfillment operations. Then businesses can take an incoming order from interface and send their product or service out to a user. It's funny that Amazon started doing this with their own services many years ago.
