- dang 11y agoI'm not sure it's less confrontational than some of your own comments. Also, it's hard to have one's baby criticized and the author is in a difficult position in this thread, so I'm inclined to cut him a bit of slack.
- effingwewt 11y agoI can't believe this is probably my first post on here since I made my acct, but REALLY?! So, because you can imagine perhaps reacting the same way in his shoes it's OK? Or that trolling a person asking for a flag's comments and commenting on his comments is OK? Part of being a moderator is trying to remove yourself or your personal opinions from your JOB. I've been seeing you do more and more of this lately, and back more and more HN "insiders"- removing replies to them, not flagging what should OBVIOUSLY be flagged as per your own guidelines you love to CNP everywhere. For a site that tries so hard to NOT be like reddit, you sure act like one of their moderators more every day.
- nilkn 11y agoI actually think a lot of the comments here are pretty confrontational towards this site for absolutely no good reason.
- zanny 11y agoIt may not be the sites fault, but the title of this whole thread is confrontational / clickbaity. Obviously people get defensive as a result.
- GFK_of_xmaspast 11y agoHow does this statement jibe with your previous posting of "Contradictory and radical ideas are a necessary part of progressive discourse and they will make people feel uncomfortable and angry."
- passivepinetree 11y agoAlso, I'm not convinced that he's actually a part of imzy. Has kwgardener mentioned him at all?
